Chef – Private/Home Chef for Intercontinental & African Cuisine

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Chef to prepare a diverse range of intercontinental and African dishes for our private clientele in Abuja. The role involves daily meal planning, cooking, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare intercontinental and African dishes according to agreed menus and dietary preferences.
• Plan and cook fresh meals daily, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and ensure all utensils and work areas meet sanitation standards.
• Monitor food inventory, communicate ingredient needs, and minimize waste.
• Adhere to all food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
• Perform any additional kitchen‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a private chef, home chef, or professional cook (minimum 2 years).
• Strong knowledge of both intercontinental and African cuisines.
• Excellent understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and organizational abilities.
• Reside near Apo, Abuja, or be willing to stay in a provided one‑bedroom apartment in Durumi.
