Certified Nursing Assistant

About the role

A health and wellness clinic in Berger, Lagos is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care and daily clinic operations.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to patients and provide basic nursing care.
• Check and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate.
• Assist with patient assessment, documentation, and monitoring.
• Administer medications and basic treatments within authorized scope.
• Assist with wound dressing and routine nursing procedures where qualified.
• Educate patients on health, hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, and healthy living.
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Support clinic operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.
• Recognize and report changes in patients' conditions and escalate emergencies appropriately.

Required profile

• Minimum OND or relevant qualification in Community Health or a related healthcare field.
• Previous experience in a clinic, hospital, or primary healthcare facility is preferred.
• Ability to perform basic nursing duties competently and safely within professional scope.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and patient‑care skills.
• Compassionate, attentive, responsible, and professional attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a clinical environment.
