About the role

Medessy Enterprises Limited is seeking an experienced driver to operate a 20‑tonne trailer truck, delivering goods safely across Port Harcourt and surrounding areas. The role involves strict adherence to safety standards and reliable transport of cargo.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a 20‑tonne trailer truck, ensuring safe transport of goods.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
• Deliver cargo to designated locations on time and handle goods properly.
• Comply with traffic regulations, road safety standards, and company policies.
• Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or incidents promptly.
• Maintain accurate trip records, delivery notes, and required documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a 20‑tonne trailer truck.
• Valid driver’s licence with heavy‑duty vehicle endorsements.
• Certificate of professional competence or equivalent driving certifications.
• Good knowledge of Port Harcourt routes and road safety rules.
• Disciplined, punctual, reliable and safety‑conscious.
• Physically fit for the demands of the role.
