Cashier – Restaurant Front‑of‑House (Wuse 2, Abuja)

About the role

We are looking for a trustworthy and courteous Cashier to manage customer payments and support smooth front‑of‑house operations at our restaurant in Wuse 2, Abuja. The role involves accurate processing of cash, card and electronic payments, maintaining sales records and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process customer payments using the POS system and authorised payment methods.
• Issue receipts, confirm payment status and reconcile cash at the end of each shift.
• Prepare end‑of‑shift sales summaries and submit accurate reports to management.
• Report cash shortages, excesses, discrepancies or suspicious activities promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organised and secure cashier station and protect confidential financial information.

Required profile

• Minimum HND or BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a payment‑handling role, preferably in hospitality.
• High level of honesty, integrity, attention to detail and professional appearance.
• Good communication, organisational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

What we offer

• Monthly salary of ₦70,000
