About the role
OphiraX Consult is hiring a full-time Cashier in Enugu, Nigeria. The role covers receiving and recording payments, keeping daily sales records accurate and reconciling cash with sales.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and record cash and electronic payments.
- Maintain accurate daily sales and transaction records.
- Reconcile cash received with sales records.
- Prepare daily cash reports and account for all transactions.
- Ensure the safe handling of company funds and payment records.
- Support other basic financial and administrative tasks as required.
Required profile
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Good numerical, communication and record-keeping abilities.
- High integrity, accuracy and accountability.
- Previous cashiering experience is an advantage.
Required skills
- Basic bookkeeping
- Basic computer skills
