Cashier – Customer Payments & Receipts

About the role
We are looking for an attentive Cashier to join our finance team in Lagos. You will be responsible for handling daily customer payments, issuing receipts and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
Key responsibilities
- Receive cash, POS and bank transfer payments from customers and issue correct receipts.
- Record all financial transactions in the approved system and reconcile accounts at the end of each business day.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling company funds and client financial data.
- Track sales transactions, identify discrepancies and report them to management promptly.
- Escalate any financial, sales or stock irregularities to the Finance team lead and senior management.
Required profile
- Minimum BSC qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar cashier or finance role.
- Entry‑level mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Mandarin or Chinese language.
