Business Development Officer - Real Estate

About the role

Kenex Konsults International is hiring a full-time Business Development Officer in Marina, Abia State, Nigeria. The role focuses on growing the company's business in the real estate market by generating leads, promoting properties and converting prospects into clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the real estate market and generate leads from prospective buyers, tenants, investors and property owners.
• Promote residential, commercial and investment properties and conduct market research on trends, customer needs and competitors.
• Build relationships with clients, property developers, investors and corporate organisations, and arrange inspections, meetings, presentations and negotiations.
• Develop strategies to increase property sales, rentals and client acquisition, and follow up leads to turn them into transactions.
• Negotiate deals, prepare proposals, sales reports and market analyses, and monitor performance against business development targets.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on promotional campaigns and maintain an updated database of prospects and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Estate Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, marketing or real estate.
• Strong knowledge of the real estate market, property sales, leasing and investment opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, networking and presentation skills; self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Willingness to attend client meetings, inspect properties and travel when necessary.

Required skills

• Lead generation, prospect conversion and sales target achievement.
• Customer relationship management and follow-up.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is an advantage.
