Business Development Officer – Deposit Mobilization

About the role

We are seeking a high‑performing Business Development Officer (Mobilization Officer) to drive deposit mobilization and revenue generation for a reputable financial institution in Lekki, Lagos. The role focuses on acquiring high‑net‑worth individuals and corporate clients while expanding the customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Drive deposit mobilization and achieve monthly business targets.
• Identify, engage, and onboard high‑net‑worth individuals (HNWIs) and corporate clients.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand and sustain the customer base.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and repeat business.
• Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare and present regular reports on performance, business pipeline, and revenue generation.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, and deposit mobilization within the financial sector.
• Strong track record of achieving or surpassing financial targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
• Results‑driven with a high level of professionalism.
• Core financial industry experience, including hands‑on loan disbursement in Microfinance Banks (MFBs).
• Verifiable transaction volumes managed.
