Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will join Dreambuilders Engineering Consulting Limited in Ibadan to drive growth across the infrastructure, energy and industrial sectors. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships and expanding the firm’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Research and qualify leads in target markets, tracking trends and competitor activity.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals for EPC and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with technical and project teams to develop competitive bids and negotiate contracts.
• Manage a sales pipeline, set targets with leadership and ensure timely follow‑up and closure.
• Contribute to strategic planning for revenue growth and market expansion.

Required profile

• Proven business development or sales experience in engineering, construction or related sectors.
• Strong market research, opportunity analysis and strategic planning abilities.
• Experience in proposal development, bid preparation and contract negotiation for EPC projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related field; master’s degree or certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with the Nigerian infrastructure, energy or industrial markets, especially Ibadan and surrounding regions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Basic data analysis for reporting and forecasting.
