Business Development Executive

About the role

Realdata International Limited is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to drive growth of its software solutions across Nigeria. You will identify new market opportunities, generate leads and convert them into satisfied customers.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential clients, industries and business opportunities.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, social media and email outreach.
• Present and demonstrate Realdata software, explain features, benefits and value.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and convert qualified leads into paying customers.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Conduct market research on customer needs, trends and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with technical and implementation teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings and sales activities.
• Provide regular sales reports and identify upselling or cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, IT or related field.
• Entry‑level experience (up to 12 months) in business development, sales or marketing.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Target‑driven, proactive, self‑motivated and results‑oriented.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Google Workspace.
