Business Development Executive

About the role
The Business Development Executive will drive growth by identifying new market opportunities, generating qualified leads and building lasting client relationships in Ikeja, Lagos. Reporting to the Business Development or Sales Manager, you will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of services.
Key responsibilities
- Research and prospect new business opportunities through networking, referrals and market analysis.
- Generate and qualify leads, converting prospects into paying customers.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase market share and revenue.
- Maintain and nurture long‑term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations and product demonstrations.
- Prepare proposals, quotations and service agreements, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, address concerns promptly and retain clients.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date sales pipeline, CRM database and regular performance reports.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and networking functions.
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets while adhering to company policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field.
- 2–5 years of proven experience in business development, sales or account management.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and communication abilities.
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
What we offer
- Competitive monthly salary between ₦200,000 and ₦250,000.
- Standard work schedule: Monday‑Friday 9 am‑6 pm, Saturday 9 am‑3 pm as needed.
