Business Development Executive - Healthcare

About the role

A reputable healthcare organisation in Lagos is recruiting an experienced, results-driven Business Development Executive on a full-time basis. The role focuses on growing business within the healthcare sector through partnerships and client acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the healthcare sector.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories and corporate organisations.
• Drive client acquisition, business growth and revenue generation.
• Negotiate business agreements, manage sales pipelines and achieve revenue targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and corporate clients.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Health, Medical Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant business development or sales experience in the healthcare industry.
• Proven track record in client acquisition, partnership development and revenue generation.
• Experience in diagnostic services, laboratory services, occupational health, medical sales, pharmaceutical sales or HMO business development.
• Previous experience in healthcare business development, diagnostics, laboratory services or related healthcare commercial operations is essential.

Required skills

• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare market in Lagos.
