Business Development - Equity Sales

About the role

Norrenberger Securities Limited, a subsidiary of Norrenberger, a licensed and regulated financial services group offering investment banking, asset management and securities trading services, is hiring an Equity Sales professional. The role involves selling equity products to institutional and retail clients, providing market insights, working closely with the Trading and Research teams, and supporting research, trading ideas, order execution and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Originate deals and execute trade mandates, and sell equity products to your own client base
• Provide financial and investment advice to clients and management, and generate new clients while managing them profitably
• Review equity transactions to ensure they comply with SEC regulations
• Help compile and publish the Daily Market Update, business headlines, weekly stock recommendations and company results
• Present market analysis and reports to clients and deliver consistent daily coverage supported by the Research team
• Cover institutions for equity derivative products and use analytical models and market research tools to optimise execution and performance
• Identify revenue opportunities while keeping client information confidential and following data protection guidelines

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or an industry-relevant equivalent
• At least 3 years of industry experience, specifically in a stock broking firm
• Experience in deal origination and execution of trade mandates
• Experience managing HNI and institutional portfolios
• CIS certification is an added advantage
