Internal Audit Executive

About the role

ExCare Health Services Ltd is hiring a full-time Internal Audit Executive based in Marina, Lagos. The role covers inventory monitoring, stock count investigations, cash policy enforcement and compliance audits, with a focus on reducing losses and strengthening internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and random stock counts, investigate variances and identify losses, damages, expiry and stock shrinkage.
• Monitor inventory movement, stock adjustments, product expiry and compliance with FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) principles.
• Enforce cash evacuation policies and investigate incidents identified through CCTV reviews.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, including NAFDAC and PCN standards.
• Audit controlled drug dispensing and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Recommend and implement practical measures to reduce losses and strengthen internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, medical laboratory science, accounting, business administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in internal audit, loss prevention, inventory control or compliance within healthcare, retail pharmacy or supermarket operations.
• Knowledge of inventory management, FEFO principles and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, investigative, reporting and communication skills, with high integrity and attention to detail.
