Building Management Systems Engineer

About the role

The Building Management Systems Engineer will design, configure, and implement BMS, AV and ELV solutions for client facilities. You will ensure reliable operation of electrical and mechanical infrastructure while supporting energy optimisation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and produce detailed scope documents, technical drawings and implementation plans.
• Design, configure and commission BMS, AV and ELV systems in line with industry standards and client requirements.
• Monitor, maintain and optimise electrical and mechanical assets such as UPS, PDU, transformers, chillers, AHU, energy meters and access control systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on BMS, HVAC and related control systems to maximise uptime.
• Troubleshoot system faults, alarms and network communication issues across integrated platforms.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, commissioning reports and maintenance records.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning and hand‑over activities, ensuring proper integration of HVAC, fire alarm, CCTV and other ELV systems.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and end‑users.

Required profile

• Minimum B.Sc. degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in building management, automation or related engineering roles.

• HVAC equipment knowledge (AHU, chillers).
• Electrical power systems (UPS, PDU, transformers, feeders).
