Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will manage project cost planning, estimation, and contract administration to ensure construction projects stay within approved budgets and comply with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents, budgets, Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and contract documentation in collaboration with architects, project managers and site teams.
• Analyse costings for tenders, conduct feasibility studies and forecast material prices.
• Perform risk management, value engineering and cost control, adjusting budgets for design and construction changes.
• Provide advice on contractual claims, dispute matters and ensure compliance with construction law.
• Measure and value completed works, prepare interim valuations and final accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction estimating, financial management or related disciplines.
• Membership of NIQS or another recognised professional regulatory body.
