Biller

About the role

The Biller is a full-time, on-site position at 9jacodekids Academy in Port Harcourt. The role prepares and issues invoices for tuition, programs and services, tracks payments, reconciles billing records and follows up on outstanding accounts in coordination with the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue invoices for tuition, programs and services accurately and on time
• Track payments, reconcile billing records and follow up on outstanding accounts with the finance team
• Update billing information in internal systems daily
• Maintain organized financial documentation
• Respond to billing inquiries clearly and courteously
• Support basic revenue reporting and assist with fee schedules
• Collaborate with administration to ensure a smooth billing experience

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of accounting and finance for reconciliation, record keeping and basic reporting
• Clear, professional communication with parents, colleagues and partners
• Prior experience in billing, accounts or administrative finance is an advantage
• Relevant diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field preferred
• Ability to work on-site in Port Harcourt and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an educational setting
