Bids Engineer

About the role

The Bids Engineer will join Ciscon Services’ Bidding and Contract teams, supporting the preparation and submission of competitive bids for projects in the mining, energy and metals sectors. Based in Port Harcourt, the role involves close collaboration with engineering, finance and operations to ensure bid compliance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit bid documents, proposals and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather technical specifications, pricing data and contractual terms.
• Analyze bid requirements and ensure compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a bid database and track bid status, deadlines and outcomes.
• Support post‑bid negotiations and contract finalisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in bidding, proposal preparation or contract management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills for interfacing with multidisciplinary teams.
