Bancassurance Representative Officer

About the role

The Bancassurance Representative Officer will promote and sell Heirs Insurance Group’s life and general insurance products through banking partners in Lagos. This full‑time hybrid position combines on‑site work at partner bank branches and the company’s offices with occasional remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Engage bank customers to identify insurance needs and present suitable solutions.
• Support customers through the application, onboarding, and policy issuance process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with bank staff and internal sales, marketing, and underwriting teams.
• Track sales performance, prepare regular reports, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Strong sales and relationship‑management abilities in a banking environment.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and active‑listening skills.
• Basic financial and insurance literacy to explain products, premiums, and policy terms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics or related field; experience in bancassurance or banking sales is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common digital tools such as email, spreadsheets, and CRM or sales‑tracking systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, balancing office and remote tasks.
