Bancassurance Relationship Officer

About the role

Heirs Insurance Group, a family of insurance companies (Heirs General, Heirs Life and Heirs Insurance Brokers), is hiring a full-time, on-site Bancassurance Relationship Officer in Lagos. The role builds and manages relationships with partner banks, their staff and customers to drive sales of the group's insurance products.

Key responsibilities

• Engage bank branch teams, present and explain insurance solutions and identify customer needs
• Closing sales in line with set targets
• Support customer onboarding, handle policy documentation and follow-ups, and ensure a positive service experience
• Prepare basic sales reports and take part in marketing campaigns within bank branches
• Work with internal teams to resolve customer issues and maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships, especially in financial or retail environments
• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in insurance, banking or related sectors
• Clear, confident communication and customer service orientation, with attention to detail in documentation and follow-up
• Ability to work on-site in Lagos and adapt to a branch-based environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in bancassurance, insurance sales, banking or financial services is an advantage
