B2B Marketing Specialist – Logistics & Warehousing

About the role

The Marketer will be based on‑site at our Port Harcourt warehouse facilities and will promote WAYBILL’s logistics, warehousing and distribution services to existing and prospective clients in the FMCG, beverage, manufacturing and retail sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business leads.
• Conduct market research to understand sector trends and client needs.
• Develop and implement marketing outreach campaigns, both offline and digital.
• Prepare sales presentations, proposals and promotional materials.
• Manage offline marketing channels and support digital activities such as social media and email marketing.
• Maintain and nurture client relationships.
• Collaborate with operations and management teams to align marketing activities with service capabilities.
• Track marketing performance, report on key metrics and suggest improvements to boost brand visibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marketing strategy, campaign planning and B2B market research.
• Ability to create and manage digital marketing activities, including social media, email marketing and online promotions.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills for engaging prospects.
• Experience with basic sales processes, lead generation and CRM tools.
• Understanding of logistics, supply chain or warehousing operations is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Port Harcourt and manage multiple tasks.
• Effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
