Assistant Manager

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support the smooth operation of our office and facilities in Ikoyi, Lagos. Reporting to the Managing Director and, when required, the Office Manager, you will coordinate landlord relations, insurance, vehicle oversight, and logistics to ensure business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage landlord relationships and resolve rental issues.
• Organise office meetings, track action items and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with insurance brokers for company assets.
• Maintain communication with the MD on purchase orders and follow‑up actions.
• Oversee office and flat equipment, payments, and repairs.
• Direct customer‑facing communications to expedite orders.
• Monitor OEM and IOC order communications and sign off quotes.
• Collaborate with accounting to set targets, deadlines and support audits.
• Supervise company vehicle usage and maintain the asset register.
• Work closely with expediting and logistics teams on local and long‑distance deliveries.
• Manage ISO audit documentation and ensure compliance.

Required profile

• HND or BSc degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational and time‑management skills.
• High integrity, honesty and ability to work well in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
