Area Sales Manager

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead the growth of assets under management across the Rest of Nigeria region, driving revenue and expanding market presence for ExpressResource Connect Limited.

Key responsibilities

• Drive regional Assets Under Management (AUM) growth and achieve revenue targets.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Executives for optimal performance.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence.
• Drive new client acquisition and build strategic business partnerships.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and continuous team development.
• Monitor sales performance metrics, forecasts, and budget execution.
• Ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of sales leadership experience, preferably within asset management or financial services.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical ability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Ability to use sales reporting tools.
