Area Phone Business Manager

About the role

The Area Phone Business Manager will lead PayGo phone sales and oversee a network of commission‑based agents in Idogbo, Edo State. You will translate Sun King’s phone business strategy into tangible results, driving recruitment, training, sales performance, collections and compliance in a fast‑moving device‑financing market.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and certify new agents (Litmos Phase 1) and convert existing Sun King agents into phone sellers.
• Deliver monthly unit targets, monitor agent productivity and apply micro‑incentives to boost sales.
• Ensure high‑quality customer onboarding, follow up on defaults, manage FPD and PAR30 metrics, and work with Credit & Operations to reduce repossessions.
• Conduct weekly field visits, ride‑alongs and coaching sessions; track exit reasons and implement retention actions.
• Maintain agent inventory within variance tolerance, perform monthly audits, and provide accurate weekly reports.
• Uphold Sun King policies, ensure zero tolerance for unethical practices, and submit timely compliance documentation.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in a business‑related field.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on field sales experience, preferably in PayGo, device financing or agent‑network environments.
• Strong knowledge of the assigned territory, trade routes and local market dynamics.

Required skills

• Litmos (Phase 1) certification.
