Area Phone Business Manager – Asaba

About the role

The Area Phone Business Manager will lead Pay‑Go phone sales in Asaba, overseeing a network of commission‑based agents. You will be responsible for recruiting, training and supporting agents, ensuring sales targets are met, collections are managed, and inventory is controlled in a fast‑moving device‑financing market.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and certify new agents, and convert existing Sun King agents into phone‑selling partners.
• Achieve monthly unit sales targets and improve average agent productivity.
• Monitor sales portfolios, follow up on defaults, and work with Credit & Operations to reduce repossessions.
• Conduct regular field visits, coaching sessions and recognition activities to retain and motivate agents.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, perform monthly audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and submit weekly performance reports on time.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in a business‑related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on field sales experience, preferably in PayGo or device financing.
• Familiarity with the Asaba territory and its trade routes.
• Strong discipline in data‑driven decision making and compliance.

Required skills
