Architect

About the role

KMA Architects is seeking a qualified Architect to join its Lagos office. The role involves developing design concepts, producing detailed construction documents, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that meet client expectations and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, design schemes and detailed drawings aligned with client briefs and regulations.
• Produce working drawings, technical details and construction documentation to professional standards.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical and other consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Conduct site visits, monitor contractors, and prepare site reports during construction.
• Participate in client meetings, design presentations and project reviews.
• Support feasibility studies, design proposals and tender documentation.

Required profile

• B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 4‑5 years of post‑NYSC professional experience in an architectural practice.
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit with BIM experience on live projects.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Lumion or Enscape.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials and services coordination.
