Apartment Manager (Replacement Credit)

About the role

The Apartment Manager oversees the daily running of nine apartments, the reception, kitchen, bar, laundry, outdoor areas and guest services. The manager coordinates staff, keeps service standards high, manages operational expenses and inventory, and ensures every guest has a comfortable, safe and satisfactory stay.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, keep apartments and common areas clean and ready, and make sure check-in, check-out, reservations and payments are handled correctly
• Welcome guests, respond to enquiries, complaints and emergencies, resolve complaints and follow up on feedback
• Supervise front desk officers, cleaners, kitchen staff, bartenders and security; prepare schedules, train staff and handle performance issues
• Oversee food and drink quality, hygiene and timely service, and record kitchen and bar transactions
• Monitor stock, keep accurate records, approve purchases and verify deliveries
• Control daily income and expenses, file receipts and invoices, reconcile transactions and report to management
• Report faults, maintain a maintenance log, ensure compliance with hygiene, fire safety and security procedures, and report accidents and incidents
• Maintain reservation, guest, payment, inventory and incident records, and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports

Required profile

• Minimum OND in hospitality management, business administration, hotel management or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, hotel, short-let apartment, restaurant or facility operations
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
• Experience with inventory, expense management and financial record-keeping
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
