After-Sales Engineer

About the role
The After‑Sales Engineer will support Aurora Solar’s customers in Port Harcourt and the wider Rivers State area. You will ensure that installed solar solutions operate reliably by providing on‑site and remote technical assistance, maintenance and upgrades.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose hardware, software and system faults remotely and on‑site.
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance, equipment calibrations and system upgrades.
- Educate clients on correct product usage, safety procedures and standard operating practices.
- Manage repair, return or replacement of defective parts in line with warranty policies.
- Maintain detailed service logs, monitor spare‑parts inventory and produce maintenance reports.
- Communicate customer feedback and recurring issues to R&D or manufacturing teams for product improvement.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, preferably Renewable Energy.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
- Patience, empathy and professionalism when handling client complaints.
- Willingness to travel frequently for on‑site visits and to participate in emergency breakdown rotations.
