Accounts Officer

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Officer to join Sunrose Consulting Limited in Lagos. The role supports the finance team with day‑to‑day accounting tasks, inventory tracking and internal audit activities in a fast‑moving manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Accountant with daily finance and accounting operations.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date books of accounts.
• Prepare financial statements and operating reports.
• Track daily, weekly and monthly inventory and produce analytical reports.
• Ensure the integrity of inventory records and coordinate physical counts.
• Investigate inventory variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Support internal audit activities and other finance‑related assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and proactive.
• Commercial awareness and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
