Accounting Personnel – Full-time

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Personnel to join Mothercat Limited’s finance team in Kaduna. The role is full‑time and involves managing the company’s accounting processes within a construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process transactions in the Accounting ERP system.
• Prepare, review and reconcile the general ledger and monthly adjustments.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register, compute depreciation and manage pre‑payment schedules.
• Prepare VAT, WHT and PAYEE tax filings.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analysis, project costing and internal controls on inventory, plant and projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Management Accounting.
• Professional qualification such as ICAN or ACCA.
• At least 4 years of progressive accounting experience with a reputable firm.
• Strong communication skills, highly organized and self‑motivated.
• Ability to work independently, reliably and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Dynamics accounting software and ERP systems.
• Understanding of IFRS financial accounting standards.
