Accountant – Lagos

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in Lagos. The role involves preparing accurate financial statements, managing day‑to‑day accounting tasks and supporting strategic decision‑making with insightful analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements.
• Develop budgets, cash‑flow forecasts and conduct financial analyses.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Maintain accounting records, internal controls and process payroll.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants and regulatory agencies.
• Monitor expenses and recommend cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• ICAN qualification or current ICAN student.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Preferably aged 40 years or above.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation and payroll.
• High level of integrity, accuracy and professionalism.
