Accountant

About the role

Banex Industries Limited is looking for an exceptionally intelligent, highly motivated, and detail‑oriented Accountant to join its diversified business organisation. The role involves managing daily financial transactions, supporting reporting, and ensuring compliance across manufacturing, real estate, and hospitality operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Process and monitor accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, ensure tax, accounting, and regulatory compliance, and support internal and external audit processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information for informed decision‑making and improve internal controls.

Required profile

• First‑Class degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Real Estate, or a Distinction in Accounting, Real Estate, or Business Administration from a recognised Polytechnic.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and audit processes.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Professional integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
