About the role
The Accountant will manage daily and monthly financial records for multiple business segments, ensuring accurate reporting and inventory control. This role supports the finance team in delivering timely profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare daily income and expenditure accounts for each segment and consolidate them for the whole business.
- Generate monthly profit and loss accounts for each unit, including transfer cost considerations for cross‑selling.
- Prepare monthly asset schedules and balance sheets.
- Review financial transactions and recommend approvals to management.
- Maintain daily records of inventories and stocks, reconciling system balances with actual inventory, especially for the supermarket.
Required profile
- Minimum OND in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
