Accountant

About the role

The Company is seeking an Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, monitor sales performance and support inventory cost control across its various business units. This full-time position will ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting and compliance with financial policies.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, invoices and payments.
• Reconcile cash, bank, POS and other payment records regularly.
• Monitor daily sales from all branches, stores, bakery and other units, reconciling against cash, POS and bank transfers.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales and financial reports.
• Collaborate with operations/procurement to monitor stock purchases, usage and cost of products.
• Track inventory wastage, discrepancies and support regular stock‑taking and reconciliation.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting, finance or related field; professional qualification (ICAN/ACCA) is an advantage.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in retail, manufacturing, food production or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently to meet deadlines.
