Accountant

About the role

Jomivic Travel is seeking a diligent Accountant to manage financial transactions, tax compliance, and inventory reconciliation for its operations in Lagos. The role involves supporting management with accurate financial analysis and ensuring adherence to internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Compute and reconcile sales, revenue, and related financial transactions.
• Manage and reconcile inventory records, stock movements, purchases, and balances.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, following up on outstanding balances.
• Apply Nigerian tax laws, perform tax computations, and ensure statutory compliance.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for tax filings and financial reviews.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in sales, inventory, and financial records.
• Assist management with financial analysis and accounting‑related decisions.
• Maintain compliance with internal financial controls and accounting procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and statutory compliance.
• Proven experience in inventory management and stock reconciliation.
• Experience in sales computation, revenue reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Residence near Ojodu Berger/Magodo Brooks is mandatory.
