About the role
Goldenland Investment Limited is seeking an entry‑level Accountant to join its finance team in Marina, Lagos. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the preparation of key financial statements.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update General Ledger (GL) accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Prepare and post journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and trial balances.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP, as well as internal policies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement).
- Analyze financial data to highlight trends, variances, and anomalies.
- Provide timely financial insights and reports to assist management decision‑making.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification: OND (Ordinary National Diploma).
- At least 12 months of relevant accounting experience.
- Entry‑level / junior candidate.
