Accountant – Full-time in Lagos

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in Lagos. The role involves handling a range of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, examining, and analysing accounting records and financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformity to standards.
• Appraise, evaluate, and inventory company assets while maintaining an asset register.
• Record, reconcile, and post petty cash and fuel imprest transactions.
• Reconcile payments and receipts, confirm customer deposits, and issue receipts.
• Manage all accounting transactions and administer payrolls.
• Control income and expenditure, audit financial information, and compile reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries, and financial statements.
• Perform any other related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a relevant accounting role.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles.

• Competitive salary ranging from NGN 200,000 to NGN 250,000 per month.
