Account Manager – SMB Partnerships

About the role

As an Account Manager for SMB partners at Glovo, you will own a portfolio of small‑ and medium‑size merchants and turn it into a growth engine. You will help partners sell more on the platform while increasing Glovo’s revenue through smarter commercial terms, promotions and Glovo Ads.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of SMB partners end‑to‑end, managing orders, GMV, AOV and profitability.
• Drive commercial growth by negotiating commissions, securing promotions, and upselling Glovo Ads and in‑app visibility products.
• Maintain a high‑tempo engagement rhythm with ~40 partner calls daily and 1–2 field days per week.
• Lead with data: run weekly portfolio reviews in Looker, Google Sheets and Salesforce, spot trends and deliver data‑backed business reviews.
• Collaborate with Partner Operations, Live Ops and Courier Ops to fix operational issues that cost partners orders.
• Act as the partner’s voice inside Glovo, sharing market insights and shaping new campaigns.
• Protect the portfolio by identifying at‑risk partners early, resolving escalations and keeping churn low.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in account management, sales, business development or merchant management, preferably in a marketplace, food‑delivery or e‑commerce environment.
• Proven track record of meeting commercial targets and negotiating with business owners.
• Strong analytical mindset with confidence in Excel/Google Sheets and data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously with discipline and follow‑through.
• Ownership, resilience and problem‑solving in a fast‑moving setting.
• Excellent spoken and written English; based in Lagos or Abuja and willing to spend time in the field.
