Account Manager – Finance & Accounting

About the role

Honey Treat Group is looking for a competent and detail‑oriented Account Manager to oversee finance and accounting operations across all its subsidiaries. Based at the corporate office in Magodo, Lagos, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate finance and accounting operations across all Honey Treat Group subsidiaries.
• Prepare, review, and consolidate financial statements, management accounts, and cash‑flow reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial planning.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll coordination, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and financial reporting requirements.
• Support audits, financial reviews, and regulatory inspections.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital and advise management accordingly.
• Develop and maintain strong financial controls and accounting policies.
• Provide financial insights and reports for management decision‑making.
• Handle group financial reconciliation and reporting.
• Manage tax computations, audit support, statutory filings, and remittances.

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 3–5 years relevant accounting experience.
• ICAN certification (strong advantage).
• Strong knowledge of tax audit, payroll coordination, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience managing multi‑entity or group accounting is an advantage.

What we offer

• Competitive gross monthly salary ranging from ₦250,000 to ₦300,000.
