Account Commercial Executive

About the role

Solenis is hiring an Account Commercial Executive in Lagos. This is a technical, customer-facing sales role where the executive is fully accountable for the success of the long-term, financially sound relationship with their assigned customer accounts. The role combines business development with regular technical service to customers, about 65% of the time, so that the executive becomes an expert partner and delivers results as planned.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the potential of assigned customers and territories, prioritising growth within current accounts and the hunt for new ones, while keeping the current portfolio strong through regular visits.
• Service the account to improve the customer's environmental profile, set up operational efficiency efforts and optimise the Diversey portfolio to deliver hygiene results that protect the customer's brand and the safety of its guests and staff.
• Work with other departments to ensure proper payment and on-time delivery of products as promised.
• Deliver training to customers on improved hygiene operations at their sites.
• Build customer loyalty and trust, roll out Diversey innovations to add value, and analyse portfolios to improve business results and hygiene performance.
• Troubleshoot hygiene, environmental and operational issues during visits, and create synergies across all levels of a customer, from hotel maids and housekeepers to general managers and regional executives.
• Retain existing revenue and close new revenue opportunities with both existing and new customers.
