Account Assistant – Vendor Invoicing & Payments

About the role

The Account Assistant will support effective expense management and accounts payable operations for the Ibadan plant. The role ensures timely processing of vendor invoices, accurate financial record‑keeping, and reliable reporting across all business locations.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices with Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Received Vouchers (GRV) for the Ibadan plant.
• Process invoices without PO/GRV in line with approved policies.
• Prepare payment schedules and cash disbursement plans using Microsoft Excel.
• Execute vendor payments via the designated banking platform.
• Manage vendor and staff IOU accounts, perform ledger reconciliations, and post journal entries in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Prepare vendor ageing and staff IOU ageing reports for month‑end reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum OND in Accounting or related discipline.
• 3‑4 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or Expense Management.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Good understanding of accounts payable processes and internal controls.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or similar ERP systems).
• Ability to perform reconciliations and manage financial records.
