About the role
Emcare Pharmacy And Store is seeking a diligent Accountant to manage its financial operations across Ibadan and Oyo State. The role involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and supporting financial decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain up‑to‑date bookkeeping records of income, expenses, purchases, sales and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, supplier and customer accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare periodic financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Assist in budgeting, monitor expenditures and forecast financial requirements.
- Prepare tax schedules, support tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices and track customer payments.
- Analyze financial data, investigate irregularities and maintain internal controls.
Required profile
- Minimum HND qualification in Accounting.
- 2‑3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
