Veterinary Sales Representative

About the role

The Veterinary Sales Representative will drive sales of veterinary pharmaceuticals, vaccines and farm inputs across Abeokuta and the wider Ogun State region. You will work directly with commercial farms, veterinary clinics, feed mills and agro‑distributors to meet monthly revenue targets while providing technical support and disease‑control advice.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, pitch and sell veterinary products to a range of customers, achieving monthly sales goals.
• Conduct on‑farm clinical evaluations, post‑mortems and diagnostic consultations to recommend medication schedules and bio‑security protocols.
• Develop and maintain long‑term partnerships with large‑scale poultry, livestock and aquaculture integrators.
• Organise technical workshops, farmer training sessions and product launch events.
• Monitor customer credit accounts, enforce payment terms and ensure timely debt recovery.
• Gather market intelligence on disease outbreaks, competitor activity and pricing trends, providing weekly field reports.

Required profile

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree with active registration on the Veterinary Council of Nigeria.
• 1–3 years of field sales, technical detailing or commercial veterinary service experience (fresh graduates with strong commercial drive are welcome).
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly across farming clusters.
