Travel and Tour Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Travel and Tour Consultant to guide clients through every step of their journey, from initial inquiry to post‑travel follow‑up. You will act as the main point of contact, providing expert advice on destinations, visa requirements, and travel packages while ensuring a seamless booking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to client enquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and in‑person.
• Assess travel needs and recommend suitable destinations and packages.
• Provide accurate information on visa requirements and assist with visa applications.
• Maintain relationships with hotels, restaurants, tour vendors, and ticketing companies.
• Arrange bookings, confirm travel details, and manage documentation.
• Handle last‑minute itinerary changes and resolve client complaints professionally.
• Track payments, follow up on confirmations, and keep detailed records.
• Achieve sales targets by converting enquiries into paying customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, International Relations or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a travel agent in agency and corporate settings.
• Strong communication, sales, and organizational abilities.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of travel trends, visa procedures for major countries, and travel restrictions.

Required skills

• Experience with GDS booking systems such as Amadeus or Sabre.
• Familiarity with CRM tools.
• Knowledge of visa application processes for countries like the UK, USA, Canada, and Schengen area.
