About the role
The Transport Manager will oversee daily transport and logistics operations, ensuring smooth coordination of truck drivers, vehicle usage, and diesel dispatch.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily transport and logistics operations.
- Monitor and coordinate truck drivers, schedules, and deliveries.
- Supervise truck movement and dispatch of diesel.
- Monitor vehicle usage, maintenance, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum HND/B.Sc. in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
- Previous experience in a transport company with ability to monitor and manage truck drivers.
- Experience in diesel dispatch and logistics operations is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
- Responsible, reliable and able to work under pressure.
