Job description
Key responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and record all incoming materials.
- Verify materials against PO, delivery note and packing list.
- Maintain proper GRN, stock register and material issue records.
- Arrange and store materials systematically with proper identification.
- Issue materials only against approved material requisitions.
- Maintain records for tools, consumables, spare parts and returnable items.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages/reorder requirements in advance.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with records.
- Report damaged, missing or excess materials immediately.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Accounts and contractors.
- Maintain good housekeeping, safety and security of the store.
Required profile
- Minimum 3–5 years experience as a Store Keeper/Store Officer, preferably in an edible oil industry.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and construction materials preferred.
- Strong documentation, numerical and organizational skills.
- Honest, responsible and capable of maintaining accurate inventory records.
