Technical Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to lead on‑site deployment, commissioning and ongoing support of energy storage systems across Nigeria. You will act as the primary technical liaison between customers, field teams and our headquarters, ensuring safe installation and reliable operation of lithium‑battery based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site installation, debugging and functional testing of energy storage systems, including lithium batteries, inverters and BMS/EMS.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely or on‑site, providing timely support to customers.
• Deliver operation and maintenance training to client operators and develop clear, localized training materials.
• Gather field feedback and communicate product performance, recurring issues and market needs to R&D and Sales teams.
• Coordinate spare‑parts logistics and service activities with local partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy or a related discipline.
• 2‑5 years of hands‑on experience in field service, technical support or maintenance of power systems, UPS, solar inverters or battery storage.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience working with international companies or projects in Nigeria/West Africa is preferred.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and communication skills.
