Technical Support Engineer - Coiled Tubing

About the role

The Technical Support Engineer will ensure flawless execution of coiled tubing projects by participating in pre‑planning, job execution, and post‑job analysis. Working closely with Service Delivery Coordinators and sales teams, you will design job programs that meet client objectives while maximizing revenue and future opportunities for Baker Hughes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Service Delivery Coordinators/Sales to understand client construction or production goals and commercial terms.
• Perform offset‑well or similar job analysis to identify application hazards and incident potential.
• Coordinate with all disciplines and stakeholders to consider constraints of the application and proposed products/services.
• Design job programs, including risk‑mitigation and contingency plans, aligned with client objectives.
• Communicate any risk of not meeting client objectives through appropriate channels.
• Document calculations, simulations, plan revisions, and changes for audit and team visibility.
• Provide on‑demand or on‑call technical support during job execution.
• Compare planned versus executed jobs and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 36 months of relevant experience.
• Strong technical background in coiled tubing operations and energy‑technology solutions.
• Ability to work across organizational boundaries and with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills for risk reporting and lesson capture.
