Supervisor - Port Harcourt

About the role

Ellasot Consulting is hiring a Supervisor for its Port Harcourt office in Rivers State, Nigeria. The role covers supervising and coordinating daily staff activities, ensuring quality and compliance, and supporting team development. Only candidates residing in Port Harcourt will be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily staff activities, assign duties, monitor task completion and adherence to work schedules.
• Ensure products and services meet quality standards and monitor attendance, punctuality, conduct and performance.
• Provide guidance, coaching and on-the-job support; address customer complaints and service issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, health and safety standards and regulations.
• Monitor use of equipment, materials and supplies; prepare daily, weekly or monthly operational reports.
• Identify operational challenges, recommend solutions, and support training, onboarding and development of staff.
• Promote teamwork, accountability and discipline; conduct routine inspections of cleanliness, order and maintenance.
• Escalate major operational issues, misconduct and complaints to management.

Required profile

• Minimum of an OND in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Management or a related field; relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Hospitality, retail, customer service or general operations experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when operationally required.
