About the role
The State Coordinator (POS) oversees all point‑of‑sale operations within the assigned state, ensuring smooth service delivery and revenue growth. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the role combines operational oversight, agent management, and compliance monitoring.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily POS activities across the state, monitoring transaction volumes, uptime, and revenue.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage POS agents, merchants, and field officers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, KYC requirements, and Nigerian regulatory guidelines.
- Resolve operational issues such as terminal downtime, failed transactions, settlements, and customer complaints.
- Collaborate with technical, support, and finance teams to improve system performance and cash reconciliation.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the agent network and increase market penetration.
- Conduct regular training, performance reviews, and risk reporting for agents and field teams.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in managing field teams or agent networks is desirable.
